Today is The big day of the excursion! The excursion starts at 6.45 AM at the meeting point outside our Resort. A enthousiastic taxidriver will bring us to Dayahibe. Dayahibe is a place where seavis begins there journey to Saona Island! How does the beginning point look like? Look at the following pictures:
Once we sit down in a speedboat we will go to Penon. In Penon we will see a lot of natural gaves. This gaves look like a cheese which is raped by a human who cannot get nic plates of cheese. These caves are created by hurricans and every building near the gave will be annually demolished by the hurricans so the people can rebuild there house / home.
After seeing the gaves we are going to Le Piseina. The Remarkeble thing about Le Piseina is that it is a natural swimming pool which isn't deeper like 50 centimeter. The bottom of the sea is white and the water is clear like a cup of thee! But that isn't the only thing what we see at Le Piseina! A starfish and rarely starfish we see. The difference between a starfish and a rarely starfish will be shown in a picture, because the difference isn't fun to tell but just to show the difference! Can you see the difference? A hint can be:"One has a religion which is obvious and the other one hasn't got a abvious religion."
If you find the difference of the starfish you will continue the journey else you must wait with reading until you find the special starfish :P(just kidding). The journey will go further and we come in Manglar. Mangler is a place at the most southest place of Domonic Repeblican which has a natural embankment. The water is very flat by the embankment and this water has an advantage. This advantage is a save place for boats which will be saved if there is a hurricane at the Dominic Republic, because the natural ambankment will keep most part of the wind off!
So Manglar is showned and we go to the next stop. The next stop is a village, Mano Juan. Mano Juan has 320 civilizations. The villagers get some income in two or three possibilities. Why it calls two or three because the third one isn't voor sure because the guide has supposition that this happens in Mano Juan! The first one is do something for the government. An example is that you are being a doctor. The second one is sell things to tourists which are paintings, necklace, bracelets, bodymassage, etc. The last one but the one that isn't for sure on these Island is smuggling drugs.Smuggling drugs is very illegal in Dominican Republic but people her can make a lot of money with the drugs. The people isn't clear about this subject(drugs) and want some security in Saona. The Secuarity in Saona have to connect to Florida if there is coming an drugsdealer! So the people who get income in a legal way , they live in wooden houses which can't survive a hurricane.
The bach is very beautiful of Canto de la playa (CP). On CP we also have coral and we are going to snorkeling. I see beautiful fishes around the corals, a fish with yellow and purple skin has seperated.
It was onbelieveble great that I have been snorkeling and have been to the beach in Saone. The white color of the beach is white as snow so I can't get enough of the beach, but I have to go at 4.30 PM because the boat will leave at this time!
